A cleaned version of Streety's Footstep file.I did not use the normal NR application (since that sometimes leaves a nasty phasing sound). I wanted to leave the footsteps as clean as possible, so I first put it through a NOISE GATE. Since the gate left a little hummy tail on the end of each step - I just selected the last part of each step and applied an aggressive -46db notch with a Paragraphic EQ between 125Hz and 250Hz. I wouldn't want to use that on the whole sound... just on the last bit of each one.I think it took care of most of it.SoundForge8

great idea to use a noise gate. Otherwise the sample allways starts with noise that sounds like a hit or shot or something like that. thankyou
