A strange discordant plaintive sound - original source material was a couple of guitar samples I recorded. These have been heavily processed and modulated. A bell-like sound creeps in. Part of my Atmospheres and Soundscapes pack which consists of sounds, often cinematic in feel, designed for use in music projects or as backgrounds intros and soundscapes for film and games.

We are very grateful to you for allowing us to use your Creepy1 soundfx in our independent film. I use it a number of times and it is unique and absolutely perfect for these scenes.

The full detailed credits are at the end of the film.

This sounds a lot like the lonely (but comforting) guitar tracks in The Last of Us, a video game for the PS3 that has won high critical acclaim in practically all of the categories you can think of. If you haven't played it yet, I think you'll appreciate the experience of immersing yourself in a lonely, hostile world with beautiful sound design and visuals. The composer's name is Gustavo Santaolalla, and when you play through this masterpiece, you'll realize where your own soundbite could easily fit in with his music as well. Fantastic work. Thank you for sharing this with us!
