This sound reminds me a good deal of the sound in lord of the rings that is used when people wave the one ring around, and it kinda has this unnatural ringing sound that follows it around. I stumbled upon this sound when I was waving a mic around near my speaker, it is essentially some very carefully controlled feedback.
