Thanks a ton! I've been trying to foley this kind of a sound for about a week...

I have always been a stickler for accuracy and realism in the sfx I've used in my professional work as a production director for a series of radio stations. I admit I was skeptical about this "boots and spurs" effect of yours, but the realistic sound just blew me away!
