This is one version of the type of sound we've all heard when a character goes into a flashback... or says "I remember it now..." and we dissolve into the past. This was created using Propellerhead Reason, programmed right in the software sequencer w/o any external hardware.
BTW, if you'd like other versions of this sound, for instance other lengths, more or less reverb, etc., get in touch with me & i'll see what i can generate.

Thanks very much for this, breyenkatz. I used it in a short piece of (attempted) comedy/political satire, which you can find here, should you have the slightest wish to hear it:

this is a beautiful sound and it works perfectly because its a .wav file and my editing system reads it.

@bjohnd that's so very kind of you and amazing to hear. If you could please credit Breyen Katz (yes spelled that way) and/or give a link to my social areas - @breyenkatz - if it fits, that will be just grand. Best and thank you.

This is a wonderful sound. I used it in an App I made for my spouse and I think it may have saved our marriage. If I make the app available for download, would you like to be credited as freesound user briandkatz, or would you prefer I use your name?
