A stereo field recording of a narrow gauge Double Fairlie steam train whistling and starting off uphill, it picks up speed as it gets closer. Recorded on a bend on the Ffestiniog Railway with a Zoom H2 on-board rear mics & dead kitten.

An excellent, clean recording of this unique type of locomotive!
