i know this is a wild assumption.. Basically I figured out that my Freesound account along with my Soundcloud and Instagram have been archived on WayBack Machine several times throughout the year. I'm not sure who it is or if it's even a bot (which i'm not too sure about) so I contacted them and I'm hoping for a response on the removal of these archived pages. I'm not too stressed about others finding my old deleted sounds/pfp/bio but it's the fact that ir has been saved seven times starting from this year's july. this probably isnt the best place to rant about this but it gave me the chills and i'm already a very paranoid person in general lol

Hi! I've experienced the same thing; mine has been archived 10 times. I'm not at all familiar with how the WayBack Machine operates however it seems to archive any noticable change made to the page, automatically; unless the crawlers are blocked for the website itself. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

The Wayback Machine help page has some info. The sections How can I get my site included in the Wayback Machine? explains possible reasons for archiving and How can I exclude or remove my site’s pages from the Wayback Machine? might be relevant to those who don't want that.

If they allow parts of sites to be excluded (freesound.org/people/[yourusername]/ and freesound.org/people/[yourusername]/*) based on owners of user profiles, it might perhaps make it easier for them to approve such a request if they see "Website archivers: exclude this page [and its subpages]." in the profile text (pure speculation).
