Are Creative Commons licenses respected? Why are the audios stolen in Freesound?

If a user downloads one or ten tracks from my channel, then publishes them with a music distribution service, changes the title and author and does not respect the freesound sound license, he becomes the owner of the current identification of those tracks, harming All FreeSound users who use those sounds because they will receive copyright notifications.
Can you do something against these users who steal music from free sound channels?

Hi Frankum, Creative Commons is a respected form of licensing. It's no different to an independent copyright notice. It's just that some people steal and plagiarise, it's a part of human society unfortunately. The only way to counter this is to act accordingly for justice. To answer your question, yes we do have the right to ban users who do not follow the terms of use, and when evidence shows that they are abusing the site and service.

Do you have an example of who stole your sounds?

Freesound doesn't have the power to act for you on a legal basis, but, as klankbeeld said, it's good to let us know the specifics because the community is very helpful at resolving these things together (power of the people). Can you make a new forum thread and give us all the information?

It's likely that it's not just your sounds that have been stolen.

Hello

If I have examples of my stolen freesound.com tracks you just have to compare the dates, I still don't know how to time travel and I haven't sold my sounds to anyone, or they are lying.
At the top, the stolen clues, at the bottom, the oldest original clues.

The number of songs is impressive, an LP has been made with my work.

Could you create a new thread for this discussion?

Cheers
