This just happened to me as well... Anyone knows how to report these "users"

At the bottom right of the message or post is a link which says "Report spam/offensive" to click

It's there on messages/posts/replies from new/newish members but not for long established ones.

I presume the poster will be checked out manually by the freesound team once reported and the account will be suspended or deleted.

Sorry about this. I'm aware of this issue at the moment working to sort it out but it's tricky because the spammers are using different URLs so it's not so easy just to block them all automatically. I've deleted/banned many of these accounts along with their messages, but they just won't give up.

I'll have to ask Frederic if we can come up with some solution, when he's available.

Detect keywords like "pics"

These bots solicited sex from me as well. I reported them. Thanks for bringing this to light!

Same here, I just marked it as spam.

I got a message from laogetturnxi19 and reported it.

They are also requesting "s-e-x", in terms of keyword detection 😆

I have received some shady friend requests in my message from the user nesuncongfa926 with a link for his/her so-called profile which was a porn site. I have reported it as spam. I love using Freesound but if it is to get these kinds of messages... I just hope it is the first and last time I experience this on Freesound.

Me too! My message was from shayfa976. I have an idea. Make a system that doesn't let you send them if your message has "sex" in it.

User 'rocitos747' posted spam in the comments of one of my sounds. I reported it as such. But that user should be permanently removed as they have no other activity. See https://freesound.org/people/zimbot/sounds/350678/ .

that sounds hella scary, I would 1000% block them. How dare they request a sound like that!!!! >:/
