Hi,

It looks like the avatar image was not updated properly. Can you try uploading it again in your account settings page?

Hi all,
it seems that the avatar get's updated but the displayed (on the profile page) is still the old one. I guess caching or similar is to blame @frederic?

If you open the profile page in an incognito window you'll get the updated image.

I've discovered that there's an issue with google chrome. I came across this myself.

If anyone is having issues with avatars not showing up when uploading, you should go to your settings and delete some browser data, specifically "cached images and files".

This should resolve the issue. If not then clear your entire browser cache of temporary files.

Hope this helps

In firefox(Win) click the little rotaty arrowed circle icon "Reload current page ((Ctr+R)"
This updates the screen (and the cache) directly from the website.
No need for private mode (incognito) so no need to lose login and other cookies.
Don't know Chrome or Safari equiv.

There is no equivalent in Chrome. Reloading the page doesn't do anything to solve the issue.

In Chrome it's actually possible to clear certain categories of data without touching others, and the cookies. Which means deleting "image and file" cache leaves cookies, logins, site settings etc. Whilst fixing the issue.
