I'm having the following error when I use the search function: "There was an error while searching, is your query correct?"
No matter what I search for the error is always there.

I'm having this error for a couple of days now, I've tried different browsers, deleting cache, etc, non of this works.

Am I the only one to encounter this issue ?

Yep. Something is wrong. Even pressing on Sounds or choosing any tag will give this error.

Notifying this in mod email and discord.

Apparently the search server was overloaded for some minutes, but it should have been resolved.

Given that we're discussing errors, our logs indicate that Freesound has been much more stable in the last 2-3 weeks, are you getting that impression as well?

Website does seem fluid and better, perhaps for even longer than the last 3weeks.
I didn't encounter many issues.
The few that I did are :
- Ironically, right now typing this the typing box and "post reply" and "previous posts in this thread" are offset. Even with a few refresh's lol
- Very rarely some image preview of specific sounds seems broken (tho the audio preview works even in browsing and image preview once the sound link is opened works fine)
- Uploading 700mb files failed upload a few times, large files can take a few attempts to upload. But the processing of lengthy files works fine and way better than in the past!
- Very minor bug, but changing PFP can require cookies reset. Even then on some devices it shows my old PFP in forum, but my newer one in the profile page etc...
- A month ago a user reported struggles deleting their account "Sorry, you wated too long, .... try again?"

While we're discussing technical stuff I'll mention a few Wishlist features 🙈
-@someone in comments and forum pings
-"group sounds by user" in the search menu. Like group sounds per pack. As users who don't use packs can "monopolise" the search browser.
- Group forum search by topic.

Cheers!

Hello Frederic and friends,

One minor issue that still occurs occasionally is the processing of some new sounds. The system then indicates that the sound lasts 0.00 seconds. It is also not possible to start the sound at any random moment.

Good luck with your search.
