When searching by tags, I notice that the tag search has a “case-sensitivity”. This is not convenient;

example
search: van-gogh-nationaal-park
https://freesound.org/search/?q=van-gogh-nationaal-park&f=&s=Automatic+by+relevance&si_tags=1&si_name=0&si_description=0&si_packname=0&si_sound_id=0&si_username=0&d0=0&d1=*&ig=0&r=0&g=1&dp=0&cm=0&mm=0

search: Van-gogh-nationaal-park

also it is annoying that I have to type the dashes between the words

search van gogh nationaal park
https://freesound.org/search/?q=van+gogh+nationaal+park&f=&s=Automatic+by+relevance&si_tags=1&si_name=0&si_description=0&si_packname=0&si_sound_id=0&si_username=0&d0=0&d1=*&ig=0&r=0&g=1&dp=0&cm=0&mm=0

I agree, having tags not be case sensitive would be preferable.
I myself aren't sure if I always put things in lower case or uppercase or how I would spell "Wood" or "wood", I wouldn't know how wood wouldn't be Wood. (Joking)

Anyhow, I think by default, tags shouldn't be case sensitive. If there's any benefits to it, I would argue there should be an option to search case sensitive or not.

Cheers for raising up this issue!

Very sensible.

If anyone wants to do a case sensitive search just put it in quotes, "Wood" or "wood".

Explain this how-to in FAQs along with other Search info. (if it's not already there.)

Hi,

This looks like a bug we might have introduced very recently. We do allow and save uppercase letters in tags, but when searching we treat them as case insensitive. We'll look into it,
Thanks for reporting!

Hi all,
Apologies for the delay in resolving this. We've now released our fixes and tag search is now case-insensitive again. Please let us know if you see anything else strange in the search results.
