Hi there,

I like the new FS2, and am just about getting used to it and finding my way around. But...

There's 2 sample packs I've tried to download, and in both cases I'm getting 'This pack is not available for download right now. Please try again later', or something to that effect anyway.

Is there a problem? The 2 I've tried to download are:
http://www.freesound.org/people/HerbertBoland/packs/8036/

And:

Any ideas?

Hey,
this happens because when a new pack is created or an old pack is updated, it needs to be processed before it is available for download.
This processing is done periodically for all new packs and updated packs, but it is not done right after the pack is created/updated. So typically you'll have to wait some time (should not be more than one or two hours) before the pack is ready for download.

I see. I thought it might be something like that, but I think the first one has been there for a couple of days now, so I thought there might be a problem.

Will try again later.

You are right, we actually had some problems with the pack processing, but now is under control and the fixes should be deployed soon wink

Yep, I have now managed to download those 2 packs just fine. But...

Would the periodic processing also account for what's happened with this one?

I downloaded it, but when I did so I found there were 2 files; there should be 4. I've now downloaded the other 2 manually, but could that be what happened there?
