This isn't a note on the new interface, but it would be nice if the audio quality of the player was improved, currently it's quite reduced in quality and sometimes has a digital ticking that you hear every few seconds

Yeah the built in player sometimes has horrible quality compared to the original, that being said the player quality should still be reduced from the original, especially to save on bandwidth. Something like 96kbps Vorbis for mono and 128kbps Vorbis for stereo would be nice.

Hi,

Yeah that is something to look into. Our infrastructure already has higher quality previews almost ready for use, but we should decide how to make that available to end users. Maybe with an option in the settings page. We'll consider this within the team.
