Right now you have to click into the sound to download it. Would be helpful to create a download button to download on the search result page.

Hi,

Thanks for your comments. This is something that has been asked several times in the past. Even though it would be definitely faster to download sounds directly from the search results page, we never wanted to implement such a button because we really want to put emphasis on the authors of the sounds and the sound descriptions. By forcing downloaders to visit the sound page, we are making sure that we are providing the full information about the sound that the author has prepared (description, geotags, tags, etc), the license information (with a summary of usage rights) and, in general, we give some more exposure to the sound author (and promote in this way the concept of attribution). This is the same reason why we add the author username in sound URLs and also in the filenames of the sounds you download.
