sorry Tomlija but this is NOT a IBM typewriter. I was an IBM typewriter technician for 22 years and that is not a IBM typewriter. Sounds more like a smith corona electronic portable or some other cheap electronic portable typewriter. I have several IBM typewriters in the attic when i get a little time i will record a real IBM typewriter so everyone can hear a real IBM. sorry to call you out on this but I know it's not a IBM..pstanley215
