Synthesized Percussion - 2

Several synthesized snare hits. Sorry I was lazy and did not cut them into individual samples. This sample was created in Ableton Live 7 using xoxos percussion synthesis plug-in "Snare".This free plug-in based on physical modelling and can be found at:http://www.breathcube.com/vst/vst.html#effectsFirst in the signal chain after the Snare plugin was a compressor with very fast attack and slow release, to tame the attack transient and allow more body to the sound. Next added a slight room type reverb (Dry/Wet about 20%)using the built in Reverb module in Ableton before passing the sound through an amp simulator, Mr Tater Head, a free VST plugin from AcmeBarGig:http://www.acmebargig.com/After this I added a bit more room reverb (dry/wet 30-40%).Some EQ was used to balance the high and low frequencies for a more natural sound. The different snare hits are variations as I was tweaking the Snare VST parameters or the Amp tone stack.
