Afternoon at Praça de Batalha in Porto. Ambient noise of people talking and passing by, traffic in the background (honking,e.g. 1:04, 1:28, 2:14; cars passing on cobblestone pavement, e.g. 0:30). A little boy is driving circles on his BMX-bicycle (sound of the chain) and falls down directly in front of the microphone at 1:43. Children shouting, one of Porto’s historic streetcars passing by from 1:17 until 1:50 (howling sound of the engine and some rattling of the wheels on the rail).Recorded with Roland Edirol R-09 digital recorder and Edirol CS-15 cardioid-type stereo microphone.
