The river Elbe in Hamburg is a pretty busy waterway for all sorts of ships and still it has a quality, standing at the shore, of being at a beach. This track was recorded in July 2009 near Ovelgönne, which is part of Hamburg. For the recording two Shure WL 183 microphones placed on some rocks and the R-09HR recorder were used.
