"Mission to planet Volx" is a mysterious Sci-Fi-ish bit of instrumental music I made for something called Victors Crypt.
I wanted to make a very spacey/sci-fi-like tune that very well could be the theme song to a space movie with aliens and cool stuff in it. I did a particular melody as the hook and made everything very "roomey" using a lot of reverb, chorus and echo.
To get that futuristic (yet retro) vibe I used a lot of different synth-sounds to build up the tension and make the melody pop. I worked a lot with the bulding up and taking it down-principle making dynamics.
Made a title with a made up planet called Volx - "Mission to planet Volx". Could be the title of a real cool B-movie I thought. :) Hehe! Hope you like it!
I think it's very "Spacey/Sci-fi-ish" but of course you can use it to anything you feel could work. Maybe like a theme-song for your creepy popdcast, intro to your movie or maybe the end credits to your cool game.
Anything spooky, mysterious, haunting, eerie, suspicious, anxious, dangerous and more...
