Designed sound of starting, moving and stopping an elevator lift or conveyor. Compiled from many sounds from my library. In particular, the layers contain sounds such as a kitchen hood, a washing machine, a fan heater, and fragments of the distant sound of the elevator winch turning on. The engine sound is based on a sound created from a field recording of highway noise recorded from the forest, as well as additional synthetic sounds and textures. Each layer is individually processed. Also, in addition to other processing, to impart characteristic body, metallic resonances to the entire structure, on the bus, a convolver was used, loaded with a pulsed sample of the resonances of a real elevator.
