The Bush Thick-Knee Curlew of North Queensland is comfortable in urban environments and spends the night patrolling territory giving off an most eerie cry that has become the lullaby for children raised in this part of the world. The audio was taken about 1am and in removing background noise it is a bit tinny, but the sound is quite true to my ear.
