Calm library atmosphere (binaural, please use headset for 3D effects).
I made this recording while sitting in a media-library located in Nanterre (suburbs of Paris, France).
Around me, some people were reading, someone else was using a computer, and other people were talking quietly. At the beginning of the file, one can hear a lady moving through the library and arranging some books. Later, she will come back with a colleague to set something. In the background, beeps from the counter and distant conversations can be heard, as well as some noise from outside (beeps from a construction machine, a bird, and a police siren toward the end) coming through an open window.
Recorded in June 2023 with an Olympus LS-P4 and Immersive Soundscapes EarSight Binaural microphones.
Fade in/out and high pass filter at 60Hz -6dB/oct applied in Audacity.
