Small market in a southern French village (binaural, please use headset for 3D effects).
I made this recording from the side of a square where a small market was taking place, in the village of Couiza (south-west of France).
One can hear buyers and sellers talking French together (most of them with a nice southern tune), typical noises from a market, and in the background, some birds and vehicles passing by from time to time. At 3’41’’ and 5’46’’, the bells from the nearby church will ring for 12 noon.
Recorded in July 2022 with an Olympus LS-P4 and Ohrwurm 3D binaural microphones.
Fade in/out and high pass filter at 60Hz -6dB/oct applied in Audacity.

Thanks Klankbeeld ! Yes, it's very clear ! ;-)
And I think you're very lucky in your city, because the carillon at the city hall and at the church are very nice there !
Personally, I'm always pleased to hear the church bells every hour or half an hour. It paces time.
Currently, in most of our french villages, church bells stop to ring from 7 or 8PM to 7AM, to not disturb people during the night. Of course, I can understand, but a church bell ringing in a silent night is so beautiful ! ;-)

Barn swalow and Common Wood Pigeon make the village image complete.
And also nice to know; Before people had a clock or watch, they were dependent on the church bell to know what time it was. Because people were always busy with their work, had no view of the tower, they forgot to count. Then they didn't know whether it was 10 11 or 12 o'clock.
That is why the clock struck again after two minutes.
In our town hall, five minutes before noon, the wooden riders on horses are spinning in the tower. Then you heard a click. Moments later, the clock struck twelve.
When Somebody asked what time it was after the wooden horsemen had turned people sayed; " it's click for the bump, it just played. At that moment every city dweller knew it was almost noon.
I hope the story is clear to you, because I have to do it with google ;-)
