The day I brought out the microphone, I should have brought the camera. I noticed a falcon or maybe it was an eagle, perched in a tree eating what looked like a mouse. I tried to coax the bird to make a noise but I couldn't so I just recorded the sounds of locusts or cicadas or whatever they call them in your part of the world.
