I finally found out that analog X's scratch application has a fader of sorts, more of a mute in the form of the right mouse button. I looked up the different "scratch" techniques and tried to make the software emulation more realistic with some simulated mixer fader action and used some different source files to scratch. These are the raw master files rendered direct to disk with little processing.
