As I was trying to recreate the Alien sound effects from the movie, "Aliens", I created this sound file which sounds very similar to one of the aliens in the movie. This sound is basically a sped up elephant grunt, with a Flanger effect added.

Nice sound! I believe the original in the movie was made using dry ice on an aluminum stepladder.

Thanks, nice clip! actually I was hoping for an elephant sound, yours seems to be the most stereotypical elephant so far. Maybe you can re-edit your alien to sound more like the elephant it was?
