Dave - That's because there's a PA speaker blaring the alarm on every other floor. It's so loud in there! And yeah, it was just me. No one else in the building ever leaves when the alarm goes off. I think they think it would be uncool or something. Hee.

Very nice! I love the way the alarm sound gets close then distant, then close again.
It sounds like you are the only one in the stairwell - is the building empty or something?
