I made a few attempts to simulate a stereo beach scene. I copied the file, lowered the volume, swapped the channels offset by half a second (too much) and then mixpasted back over original (with lowered gain as well). Aside from the obvious delay on the human voices and obvious sounds, it seems to have worked good enough for me.
