Recording of a snippet of tennis from Wimbledon, while standing mid way between an analogue terrestrial TV receiver (right), and a digital TV receiver connected to the terrestrial "Freeview" system (left). The delay of the digital signal over the analogue can be seen to be about 670 mS. Zoom H4 recorder. Amusingly, the "alternating" hits and spacial effect make it sound as if you're situated between the two players.

'digital echo', funny effect. I wonder what this would sound like if recorded on a really fast surface (earth), a machine gun!
