forest-perspectives

Pine forest ambiance in spring, with birds singing, breeze on trees and flying insects. In contrast to the companion sample 20080528.forest.wind.few.birds.flac, this one has something 'dirty' on it, maybe because of the buzzing of flies which remind me of something rotting. The sound of insects is in contrast with the cleanness of bird songs, whereas wind, as usual, blows indifferently. Sennheiser MKH30+MKH60 into Shure FP24 and Edirol R09 recorder. Originally recorded at 24 bit, downsampled and mixed to mid-side stereo with Voxengo VST MS plugin. Recorded near Hinojos, S Spain around 11AM
