Broken casette recorder

A sample from a session with a broken cassette recorder and its built-in microphone.

This particular sample might come from music or speech of a radio transmission because it contains a vocal-like sound. The sample has a fast attack and a rhythmic structure like someone saying "Uh-shhh-tshhhh-oh".

After recording, I took the cassette and plugged it into a working recorder to transmit to PC. Maybe I've applied Audacity's noise reduction algorithm to the material - i can't recall.
