Sound recorded at the massive people recording in Ghent - Belgium. About 40 people make sounds together, directed by Henk our friendly director. Everything was recorded by 4 microphones and directly mixed down to stereo for recording. Virtual human drumset. Everyone saying "ping" at the same time.

oh my gosh I love this. I want to think of a reason to use it! Right now I'm imagining a weird film in which the main character goes around accompanied by sounds from this group. They're always in the scene in the background, ready to make appropriate sounds. Like when his microwave is done. Ping. The 4th wall (not really but whatever) starts to dissolve and the people start to get involved in his day to day life. I have no idea where I'm going with this. But the thought of this 40 person Belgian group standing off to the side in any scene, like bizarre, patient audio angels, is making me laugh. It is late, maybe that's why.
