Rock falling on hard ground: The sound of a relatively small stone being dropped onto a hard brick surface, hard impact sound. This sound was recorded with a ZOOM H6 recorder and a RODE NTG-2 Shotgun mic. Post-processing was added in the form of a compressor in order to attenuate some of the sound's transients that caused clipping, while still keeping the rest of the sound's levels audible and vibrant. The sound was recorded on a sunny, relatively quiet day, by recording someone dropping a stone on a hard surface with a shotgun mic.
