Passing train near a Paris' near subburg railway station.With the different trains speed, I captured different sounds. All those 13 sounds are recorded from the same place with equal volume.Recorded by myself with a TASCAM DAP1 and AT825 stereo microphone. I worked in 1995 on trains sounds for the soundscape of the theater play "Mendel Schainfeld, le 2ème voyage à Munich" (Théâtre de l'Echappée, Laval, France). In 2006, with Compagnie Escale, a gestural theatre company (Tours, France) for their play "Les mots derrière la vitre", I needed more trains. I realised during rehearsals in the Dance National Center of Paris this new sound and the following for them.
