I used to hear those transmissions on Fisher PH-405K boombox back in the 80's to early to mid 90's. Those sounds will be missed today. Thanks for uploading this archive SW sample.

Yes, this is another wonderfull sound world and, maybe, one of the first *global* information networks too. Unfortunately I do not have a good shortwave tuner long time ago. Has been a rediscovery to meet all this old records. I like that you like :)

I love radio sounds like these - eat 'em for breakfast as nourishment - and these are great. Trick is to REALLY listen and then you hear a new world. This one is actually a nesting colony of crazed cannibal gulls screaming at each other.
