Motorcycle chain & gear box.mp3

A short clip of a recording I made from my CBF600 motorcycle gearbox and chain.
You can hear gearbox wine (normal), the sound of the chain running over the drive sprocket, some gear shifts and a little wind noise.

I recorded it to see what it sounded like. It can make a good reference with which to compare should you think there is a problem in the future. I like the sound of the engine running and gears, normally drowned out by the exhaust.

I clipped the mic to the gear lever. If I do it again I will place it further away from the sprocket.
