Remix: Robust waves washing up on a beach. It's ready to put in your MP3 player on repeat, for blocking out noise and helping you sleep. I started with sample 13793, Soarer's very nice North Sea recording, and did my own edits for this application.

Very observant! What you're both picking out is the white noise I deliberately mixed in to soften down the harsh, stark quality of the original sample so that it's more suited to my "Soothing White Noise' purposes.
