it was supposed to be a very subtle "nervous breathing" for a scene I did...that's why it was recorded low. I didn't want the breathing to sound as loud as the gun shot that was in the same scene ;)

Actually, it's not. It was just recorded at very low levels. If you download it and amplify it, you will hear nervous breathing.
I did it just for fun.
You can amplify with sox from the command line or audacity through a gui (both free).
