Hurricane Wind. Steady but not violent. High whistling with a good range of high and low frequencies.
These are high-quality copies of Hollywood original optical and mag effects from the 1930s through the '60s, transferred to full-track tape by USC Cinema. I have digitized them for preservation, but they have not all been restored and may have some noise.

I've used this sound yet again, this time as a sample that increases and decreases in volume, used to add the impression of speed from the point of view of a mounted rider. It really helped bring the soundscape together (so much as my limited skills would allow.) Thanks yet again for recording it!

I'm back again. This time the wind sound was used as a very low-key ambient note for the entirety of the project, except at the end when the doors open up and it's time for skydiving. I really like this sound. Thanks yet again for recording it!

Great sound. If you can make one that sound like you are outside, would also be very helpful. Characters tend to open doors, and a pitch change for outside, would bring it all together.

I used your sound again. Properly handled, it makes a great effect for the wind sounds one might here during an extended free-fall. Thanks again for recording it!

I used this to create part of an ambient background sound for part of my latest Future Horror episode. It was pretty much exactly what I needed. Thanks!
