This is a traditional Shia religious song recorded in the offices of Iraqi political figure Moqtada Sadr in the southern Iraqi city of Naseriyah in 2004. The lead vocal is sung by a 12-year-old boy named Karrar. I have combined the vocal recording with a sample of a drum sound recorded during a Shiite religious ceremony in southern Iraq in 2004. This version of the track was used in the film, and adds synthetic sounds created in Apple Logic using the Sculpture instrument.
