This track was recorded in northern Iraq during the filming of my 2006 documentary film, IRAQ IN FRAGMENTS, which is available for free viewing on my portfolio site: www.jameslongley.com
The song is a traditional Kurdish folk song, recorded in the home of Mr. Bekr, a Kurdish wheat farmer and brick maker living near the Kurdish village of Koretan, west of Erbil in northern Iraq.
