Awesome sound, but it's at a low bitrate which reduces the quality, maybe you put a limiter on it? or did noise reduction, that can do it too...
Your microphone also has a hum to it, maybe your using a bad cable or it's at the wrong voltage or something, I don't think a nearby device could make that sound but I'm not that experienced so I can't say for sure.
If you did this inside a carpeted room, or somewhere with lots of fabric covered furniture than you'd have better luck because it's pretty echoy, which reduces it's usefulness, just make sure you turn of any air conditioners, fans, clocks or fridges, or at least get away from them.
You could also bring it a liiiittle bit farther away from the microphone, that big chunky slide sounds almost painfully loud compared to the rest of the sound, and that way it'll be a bit more normalized. Make a few recordings and pick the best ones, moving it to different locations as compared to your recorder each time, that really helps.
Thanks for uploading though, even if it's not very usable it's still educational and bad ass sounding :-)
