Calm woods with woodpeckers at sunrise in March in The Netherlands.
Even before the sun rises I start my first sound recording of this morning. Great Spotted Woodpeckers hammer their area’s. Wonderful to hear all those different tones. All kinds of little birds from the forest sing.
There is no one at this early hour. The sun will rise in 15 minutes.
