Eye-glasses case being opened and closed: the case squeaks open and snaps shut. Soft squeaking and hard snapping sounds. The sound was recorded with a Zoom H6 recorder, making use of the XY stereo microphone attachment. The sound was post-processed to lower the peaking of the case snapping shut and to remove the wind generated from the closing of the case (compression and high pass filter). The sound was recorded in the afternoon in a sound-proofed room in order to limit the influence of external noises being picked up by the microphone.
