Goal : to create a McDonalds jingle played on piano and whistled.
Production steps: First of all, I created five notes that make up the McDonalds jingle: a A3 (440 Hz), a B3 (495 Hz), a C4 (528 Hz), a A4 (880 Hz) and a G4 (792 Hz).
Then, I changed the tempo until it was the same as the real jingle and I placed markers to change the height of each note so the closing would be more fluid.
I then played with bass and treble until getting a sound as clean as possible. I copied and pasted the entire track, then I added a Paulstrech effect on the collage to give an impression of whistling. To make the sound more credible, I also added reverb. At the end, I added a half-second of silence and I muted the sound.
• Typologie (Cf. Pierre Schaeffer) : double X’’
• Morphologie (Cf. Pierre Schaeffer) :
1. Masse : groupe tonique.

Meh, it's not TERRIBLE but it is overly simplified. Not all of the notes share the same length in the real jingle, but at least the notes are tuned correctly here.
