This recording of humpback whale (Megaptera novaeangliae) song and echolocation clicks of a cachalot (Physeter macrocephalus) is part of a series of recordings from an oceanic soundscape project using a deep-sea cabled observatory off the California coast. Thank you so much for sharing this with the greater community. Heard about it in the Santa Cruz newspaper. Fantastic. To think it's right here off our coast.
