Hum from far city recorded end summer afternoon from pasture.
Standing in the Gement-polder close to natural reserve Moerputten the city ‘s-Hertogenbosch in the province North-Brabant is 700 m left from me. Right of me, in the far distance, the city-ring and railroad. In between and at the right the ‘Gement’ polder. In the past, the polder was mainly farmland. Now it has been transformed into nature.
At the end of summer there are few birds to hear. In fact, you only hear the buzz of traffic and the city with far far away some bird-sounds. You can also hear the wind through the grass and the reed for a moment.
I know, I’m little bit strange, but I love this sound.
