A Pedestrian Crossing. There is a pause in the traffic. The crossing bleeper sounds while the inevitable seagulls are heard in the background. I cross the road. Some traffic goes by. Just for the hell of it, I press the button again and await my chance to cross back over. Traffic starts again. Seaford, Sussex July 2007. Zoom H4 WAV recorder.
