sorry i took so long to reply [no email notification]. Phonogramme is free, and you can get it here:

but for Mac, it's only os 9, and the PC version doesn't have as many features. .
it's a fantastic program; yes you can draw! for this sound, i had it drawing 4 octaves parallel at once, which gives it that Oberheim OBX menacing quality.
it does take a lot of work; i think there is a manual in english.

Spooky sound. You drew it? I'm interested in this Phonogramme, by Vincent LeBros. I tried to research it on the web, but I don't speak German; and the translation was confusing. Is the "Phonogramme" program for sale? thanks, LincolnLog
